St. Louis Man Finds ‘Mummified’ Infant In His Deceased Mother’s Freezer

When I read this...I just said OMG about a million times to myself.

A St. Louis man made a grisly discovery while cleaning out the home of his recently deceased mother - the mummified body of an infant, stashed inside a box in the freezer.

Adam Smith says he'd seen the box ever since he was a kid but his mother told him never to touch it. He assumed it was a piece of frozen wedding cake, but instead it was an infant that Smith believes may have been his sister.

Smith says his mother had once mentioned losing a child at birth, but he told a local news station "I cannot help it to think she might have done something to it". An autopsy is being conducted.
