Hubby Sets Up “Date Nights” Outside Wife’s Hospital Room Window

Shona Moeller and Bob Conlin are expecting their first child. Exciting! Unfortunately, Moeller is in the hospital because her water broke halfway through her pregnancy. She has to stay in the hospital on bed rest as she could go into labor any time. Her due date isn’t until August 10th, but the couple now expects she’ll give birth by June 29th.
Conlin cannot see his wife as no visitors are allowed due to the pandemic, so he decided to create “date nights” outside of her hospital window. He holds up signs that she can see from her hospital room window. He also drops off food at the hospital for her and sometimes brings her flowers.
When Conlin’s wife has her food, he’ll then sit outside and they’ll have meals “together”. He says their date nights help give his wife a break and a bit of normalcy while they wait for their son. He’s doing what he can to make sure that she feels “special and loved.”
