Jake Gyllenhaal Seems To Finally Respond To Taylor Swift’s ‘All Too Well’
It seems as though Jake Gyllenhaal has finally responded to Taylor Swift’s extended version of “All Too Well” and the accompanying short film by the same name.
In a new feature with W Magazine yesterday (January 12), as part of their 2022 Best Performances feature (he was included for his film The Guilty) Gyllenhaal, 41, posed for photos wearing a crimson red button-up shirt with a pair of red, heart-shaped glasses resting on his head. It is believed that the matching red hue Jake wore was not a coincidence. On top of that, the sunglasses are the exact same kind that Taylor, 32, wears in her “22” music video.
W‘s Instagram caption originally read: “Red (Jake’s Version)” and in the comments section, many people took note with users writing, “Jakes version! I am dying! 😂😂😂” and “The caption lmao y’all playing a dangerous game 😂” As of today, the caption on the post has since been changed to focus on Jake’s new movie The Guilty, but a screenshot of the reported original has been circulating on social media.

One key line from the original song references a scarf that Taylor sings about leaving at her lover’s “sister’s house,” which Jake’s sister Maggie said she’d been asked about during a 2017 appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. “I never understood why everybody asked me about his scarf, what is this?” Maggie said in response to a question about whether Taylor’s infamous scarf is still at her house. “I am in the dark about the scarf. It’s totally possible. I don’t know, but I’ve been asked this before, and I’m like, ‘What are you talking about?’”
