Top 10 Ways To Celebrate The First Day Of Fall
It’s almost here! Fall officially starts this Friday, September 22nd and I say bring it on. Don’t get me wrong, I love summer, but it’s time to get a break from the heat and humidity, even if it’s only in our minds after seeing the words “Fall begins” on the calendar. And with the kids out of school this Friday, you can celebrate as a family:
10. Put on a sweater (Yes, it’ll be 86 on Friday but fall is “sweater weather.” I don’t make the rules.)
9. Go to a high school football game
8. Snack on cider and donuts
7. Light a fall-scented candle
6. Hop on a hayride
5. Buy a gourd
4. Make soup
3. Shop for Halloween costumes, decorations, and candy
2. Gather ’round the fire pit
1. Three words: Pumpkin Spice Lattes
