You Can Now Shop at T.J. Maxx Online Again

The Justice Department has charged 11 people with stealing more than 40 million credit and debit card numbers of customers shopping at TJX Companies, which owns the Marshall's and TJ Maxx chains, and other major retailers by hacking into their computers. The information was then allegedly sold to people who used it to steal tens of thousands of dollars at a time from accounts through automated teller machines in the US and Europe. It is one of the biggest identity-theft cases on record. Charges against the suspects, who are from the US, China, Ukraine, Belarus, and Estonia, include computer fraud, wire fraud, access-device fraud, aggravated identity theft and conspiracy. The suspects also accused of hacking into the computers of Barnes & Noble, Forever 21, Sports Authority, OfficeMax, Boston Market, DSW Inc., and BJ's Wholesale Club to steal information. Shopping at the store may not be for you right now, but have no fear…T.J. Mazz online is BACK again! On Wednesday, May 13th, the retail store T.J. Maxx opened its online store once again. Now, shoppers can stay safer at home and get all the perks of T.J. Maxx’s deals at tjmaxx.tjx.com. One downside, the site is capping its daily orders. #Bummer

According to its website, the T.J. Maxx physical stores that are reopening in the coming months will have temporary store hours of Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

If online shopping isn’t for you, some T.J. Maxx stores will have hours on Tuesday and Thursday just for seniors 60 years and older and those who are at higher risk of getting COVID-19. I actually went to the one located off South Blvd. in Charlotte yesterday, and it was open until 7 pm with some pretty great discounted deals. I was able to find floor cleaning wipes and disinfectant wipes as well.
