York County Is Famous For Their 20 Acres Of Sunflowers
I love Sunflowers. They are simple and gorgeous.
For a while, a lot of friends have told me to visit Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, but when I went last year they were all dead. However, I now found something a little closer to home.
Draper Wildlife in York county (McConnells, SC) is located at 1080 Brattonsville Road in McConnells, South Carolina, and has a plethora of sunflowers to enjoy. They currently boast 20 acres of sunflowers and admission is free. I can’t wait to go and bask in the beauty of there blooms. Draper Wildlife Management Area is just 36 miles from Charlotte.
Update: I visited the park and the flower/space was AWESOME! There were so many fields of flowers and I even saw a field mouse ha! Check out some of my shots below.
