Getty ImagesEver wondered what your mom really wants for Mother's Day? I know, many times we get stuck on trying to figure out the perfect gift for her. But, it's hard. It's really hard when you feel like you have already gotten her everything and there isn't anything specific that she "needs." So, what's left to even get her. Well, while there are some mothers who will actually tell you what they want, there are others who leave us to figure it out. But this time, I think we may have just found the cheat code.
North Carolina Moms Want This for Mother's Day
Time 2 Play decided to do a study to help us figure out things a little bit better when it comes to our moms. Moms do a little bit of everything for all of us, so why not give them what they really want. They did a study to find out what moms in each state really want and the results are in. To keep things as current as possible, they only surveyed moms who have children still living at home. So, if you are like me with a long distance mom then this might not be the list for you unless you use a delivery service.
Accordign to the survey, North Carolina moms are really in need of a meal when it comes to Mother's Day. Which from experience, if my mom were close we would absolutely go out to eat. Whether it's brunch or dinner, a nice meal treat on Sunday would be a great option for mom. Moms love enjoying a great meal that they don't have to cook themselves. She is already serving the family majority of the days throughout the week, so treat her to her favorite restaurant for a Mother's Day meal she will appreciate. Plus, there won't be any dishes for anyone to deal with by the end of the night. Meals must be a pretty big deal for moms, because it was the second most voted thing that they really want. Our sister state, South Carolina, aso had the same outcome. So, just make it easier on yourself and treat her to a great meal.
Mother's Day is THIS Sunday (May 12) and we're celebrating all of the amazing women we know and love. Mother's Day is always the second Sunday of the month of May and of course, what's a go-to on a Sunday? BRUNCH! That's right, take your mom, wife, sister, aunt, grandmom, or whoever out for brunch this Sunday in their honor. If you are religious, then brunch is also the perfect meal to enjoy right after church.
I went looking to see what restaurants were offering a great Mother's Day brunch special for this year. Most are doing Mother's Day buffets, but it can all still be great.
