Union County Teachers Are Protesting Today
Last week, CMS decided on going full remote starting August 17th until it is ‘safe to return.’ Now, Union County teachers want the same decision. Union County teachers will be protesting today outside the Union County Public Schools office in hopes to push the school board to start the year remotely.
Currently, Union County will be starting the school year with a mix of in-person & remote learning. The goal is to keep school buildings at 25-30% capacity, but Union County teachers feel as though the start of the school year should be 100% remote.
We will see what Union County decides to do.
