Bronx Zoo Offering Animal Adoptions For Mother’s Day
Looking for a wild way to celebrate Mother’s Day this year? The zoo that brought us the annual “Name a Roach” promotion for Valentine’s Day is now offering something considerably less creepy-crawly for Mother’s Day (5/14). The Bronx Zoo in New York City invites you to surprise the mom in your life with an animal adoption.
Naturally, this is only a symbolic adoption. No one’s going to let you take a baby snow leopard home. However, the bond between moms and kids is something humans have in common with many animals. A Bronx Zoo Symbolic Animal Adoption is a beautiful way to honor that connection. By symbolically adopting mother and baby zoo animals for your mom, you can let her know how much she means while assisting the Bronx Zoo’s mission to protect vital species.
For a $65 donation, your Symbolic Adoption will include mom and baby plush animals, fact card with photo, and an adoption certificate. You can also adopt a variety of single plush animals for $60. And of course, you’ll be helping to support the Bronx Zoo’s conservation work in the park and around the world. According to the zoo, you need to place your order by May 3rd in order to receive it by Mother’s Day.
