It’s almost time for 2022! Honestly, I can’t believe 2021 is already done as well. I think because of the pandemic and doing almost nothing, time is flying faster than ever. Before you know it, the new year will be here and we wanted to give you 3 of the best New Year’s Eve destinations in North Carolina to visit.

We celebrate the end of good times on New Year’s Eve to look forward to new adventures in the new year. The New Year’s Eve festivities in our state are sure to be exciting, so make sure to enjoy them on New Year’s Eve. Happy new year!

• New Year Resolution Run in Asheville

  If your New Year’s resolution involves fitness and health, the New Year Resolution Run in Asheville is an excellent way to get started on your goals. Participants can run in the 5K and 10K races that wind around a course through Downtown Asheville. Dress warm and bring the whole family to run into the new year.

• Raleigh Beer Garden

  Spirits flow abundantly at the Raleigh Beer Garden for its new year celebration. Tickets are available to this Great Gatsby-themed event held at the venue. It will have food, and an open bar for everyone as a DJ plays fantastic tunes. Then, gather for the champagne toast at midnight. This sounds so much fun!

• CLT NYE

  The Queen City made the list! Charlotte is a prevalent place to travel for New Year’s Eve to celebrate the CLT NYE. This citywide New Year’s Eve event transformed Tryon Street in Uptown Charlotte into a festive atmosphere for the holiday. Live music fills the streets as the crowds await the midnight fireworks. I’ve actually never done NYE this way in Charlotte, but now I am curious!
