Know Before You Go: Elton John Farewell Yellow Brick Road Charlotte

It truly is the end of an era this Sunday night as Elton John says Farewell Yellow Brick Road in Charlotte at Bank of America Stadium. This show will serve as John’s final show in the Queen City so it’s fitting that it will take place on the biggest of stages. The last time he was here he played down the road at PNC Music Pavilion for a packed house (and I was lucky enough to be in attendance). Though this time he is playing to significantly more fans.

This show has been a long time coming as it’s been announced for over a year. Fans in Charlotte have waited in anticipation, much of which is probably bittersweet, for this day to come. And now here we are! Showtime is upon us. If you’re heading to the show we’ve got all the info you need including venue policies, setlist, and ticket info! Yes as of today, Monday, a limited number of tickets remain. If you’ve been putting it off now is the time to buy before they sell out.   • Is It Sold Out?

    A few tickets remain as of Monday morning on Ticketmaster.com. The available seats (not resale) range from $245 per ticket to up to $998 per ticket on the floor. There are also some verified resale tickets on Ticketmaster as well. As always we only suggest purchasing tickets through Ticketmaster and not from any other third-party resale sites. This will assure you get the best price and that your tickets are legit.

  • Mobile Tickets

    Tickets will be accessible via mobile device only. No Screenshots.

    The venue recommends that you add your mobile tickets to your Apple Wallet of Google Play prior to arriving at your gate for entry.

  • What Time Does The Show Start?

    At this time the show is scheduled to begin at 8:00 pm. Lines will be long so we recommend getting to the venue early to guarantee you make it to your seat before showtime!

  • Are Bags Allowed?

    To ensure that all fans have a safe and enjoyable visit to Bank of America Stadium, the team and the NFL enforce a clear bag policy wherein approved items may be placed in transparent plastic, vinyl or PVC bag no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″ or purses, bags or clutches no larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″.

    Guests may bring two sealed bottles of water per person.

    Bank of America Stadium is card only so don’t bring cash and plan to spend it! You’ll need a credit card to get food, drinks, souvenirs, etc!

  • What Can't I Bring In The Venue And Additional Policies:

    What you can’t bring in the venue:

    To ensure that all fans have a safe and enjoyable visit to Bank of America Stadium, the following items are not permitted in the stadium:

    · Alcoholic beverages

    · All balls, including footballs of any size

    · All non-transparent bags or items, including backpacks, binocular/camera cases, cinch bags, computer bags, diaper bags, fanny packs, purses larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″, etc.

    · Baby seats

    · Balloons

    · Coolers or containers, including cans and bottles

    · Explosives

    · Fireworks

    · Folding chairs

    · Food and beverages, except two (2) sealed plastic non-flavored water bottles per person

    · Horns, bells, whistles and other noise makers

    · Illegal drugs

    · Laptops

    · Laser pointers

    · Pets, except service animals assisting those with disabilities

    · Seat cushions with covers, zippers, clasps, pockets or any other device that would allow concealment of any item

    · Selfie Sticks

    · Strollers

    · Umbrellas

    · Video equipment

    · Weapons of any kind and size, including guns, knives, scissors and those carried with a permit

    · Other items that in the judgment of stadium management pose a safety hazard or diminish the enjoyment of an event by other patrons

    Prohibited items that are discovered during security inspections at the stadium entrances must be either returned to the owner’s vehicle or discarded. Unlawful items that are discovered during security inspections are subject to confiscation, and the person in possession of those items may be denied entrance into the stadium and is subject to arrest. Any prohibited item discovered inside the stadium is subject to confiscation.

  • What Are The Permitted Items?

    • Any transparent plastic, vinyl or PVC bag no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″
    • Purses, bags or clutches no larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″
    • Baby bjorns
    • Containers for medical supplies for diabetics (please contact security at 704-358-7000 for more information on the approval process)
    • Flags without poles or sticks
    • Seat pads without covers, zippers, clasps, pockets or any other device that would allow concealment of any items
    • Tablets

    Fans are encouraged not to bring any bags or items that need inspection as our goal is to get all patrons in the stadium as quickly as possible.
