While many of us may have gone up a pants size over the holidays, the “Throwback Video of the Week” is also expanding. Now, instead of one retro music video from the golden age of MTV, we’re giving you three every week. Introducing the “Throwback Threesome!” We’re launching our newly enlarged feature with one of the biggest music video icons of all time: Madonna.
While Madonna’s singles would have been hits without the benefit of videos, it certainly seemed like MTV was made for Madonna and vice versa. It’s not easy to choose only three of Madonna’s videos, but here’s a trio of some of her standouts from the mid-’80s.
