Casey Affleck Gave His Kids His Oscar, Guess Where It Ended Up?
Casey Affleck went to hang out with Jimmy Kimmel and tell him his story about his first car accident, but something was very real about his segment.
After bringing the police officer on TV with him (which you can watch below), according to E!, he shared with Jimmy that he forgot to mention his kids in his thank you speech when he won his Oscar for Manchester By The Sea.
When he realized this, he felt so bad that he went home and gave his kids the Oscar Statue.
Well, apparently the kids didn’t realize how important the statue was because he shortly found it underneath a pile of dirty clothes. HOW REAL IS THAT?!
Dear old dad didn’t get mad, but he did take the statue back with the stipulation: “I was like, ‘You know what? I’m going to hang on to it, guys. It’s still yours, but I’m going to hang on to it.'”
