Donnie Wahlberg Leaves Massive Tip At Charlotte Waffle House
He’s done it again!
New Kids On The Block star Donnie Wahlberg has returned for a second time to the Waffle House on Queen City Drive on Wednesday night to offer up another tip- $2000 on an $82.60 meal! It’s no secret Wahlberg loves his Waffle House!
The singer and actor is passing through town for a News Kids on the Block concert Thursday night at the Spectrum Center in uptown Charlotte. He’ll finish off the NKOTB Total Package tour with the last three stops in Atlanta, Tampa, and Hollywood, Fl.
The “Blue Bloods” actor said in a Facebook post, “My mom waited tables, and my dad tended bars– for years! So, when I walk into a #WaffleHouse, and the staff treats me like a king, you better believe I treat them like queens! Thanks to the team at @wafflehouseofficial Charlotte, NC!

This unbelievable generous act is exploding with reactions. The post has already received over 3,000 shares and almost 2,000 comments.
Wahlberg also documented the experience at the Waffle House in a Facebook LIVE video where he offered backstage passes and tickets for Waffle House employee Jasmine and her mother. He goes on to discuss how tired he was after a long day of taping “Blue Bloods” and his life growing up as the “good son”, unlike his brother.
And if you’re dying to know, Walhberg gets served up a plate of eggs, grits, and toasts! Yum!
