It’ll be two weeks tomorrow since we lost Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington. We will never know exactly why he did what he did. It’s difficult for anyone to make sense of suicide, especially when there’s no note left behind. Truthfully, it’s not for anyone of us to speculate on. It’s sad and I feel for his family and friends. I hope and pray that they eventually find peace.
There’s no question that Chester Bennington was the voice of a generation. I remember standing in my room as a 13 year old singing every song on ‘Hybrid Theory’ at the top of my lungs! July 20, 2017 was a sad day for many.
Last night Chris Martin ended Coldplay’s sold out show at MetLife Stadium with a tribute to Chester by seeing “Crawling”.
