For some of our favorite celebs, it looks like 2018 will be all about fresh starts and finding love again in the new year. While these stars started off 2017 coupled up, by the end of the year, their relationship status had changed. Here are some of the most shocking splits we saw this year:
Aaron Rodgers and Olivia Munn
The Packers quarterback and his actress girlfriend split after three years of dating. There had been some speculation surrounding the relationship for a while, actually. Rodgers is estranged from his family, and there were whispers that perhaps Munn is to blame. Now that the two are officially done, it’ll be interesting to see if Rodgers and his family get closer again.

Amy Schumer and Ben Hanisch
It seemed like the comedian had finally found her match in furniture designer Hanisch. The two were adorable together, and she frequently gushed over their relationship in interviews. However, after two years of dating, they split with no real explanation as to why.

Theresa and Larry Caputo
The Long Island Medium and her husband of 28 years recently announced their separation. However, sources close to the couple explain that these two might not totally be over. In fact, they say they could see a reconciliation happening eventually.

If you’re on Team Selena, you were SO glad to see her finally break free of the Justin Bieber spell and move on with The Weeknd. They walked red carpets together. They vacationed together. She flew all over the world to watch his concerts. And then, after 10 months, they broke up. Suddenly, any traces of their relationship were gone from social media, and she had come down with Bieber Fever yet again. Sigh. Apparently, old crushes really do die hard.

While they may have seemed mismatched at first, we grew to love these two as a couple. They tied the knot in 2009, and have the cutest son. It was a sad day in #relationshipgoals land when they announced their divorce.

After a decade together, Bilson and Christensen have parted ways. They got together in 2008 and were engaged later that year. They called off the engagement in 2010 but then reconciled three months later. This time, cheating rumors swirled, with allegations surrounding a developing relationship between Christensen and actress Emma Roberts.
