Alex Rodriguez always knew what he wanted.
The former pro baseball player posted a throwback video from 1998, where the then-23-year-old revealed that his dream date was his current fiancé, Jennifer Lopez.
“Hopefully you can find me a date with her,” he said in the clip, which was posted by MLB Network’s “Intentional Talk.”

A-Rod found the video and shared the post, writing “I just had a feeling.”
In an adorable response, Lopez wrote “OMG … I love this too much,” to which he wrote back, “when you know, you know.”
The couple has been dating since 2017 and he popped the question earlier this year. They have not announced an official wedding date.
