Pink Claps Back At Mommy Shamers Going After Jessica Simpson
Pink decided to weigh in after mommy shamers started going after Jessica Simpson for dyeing her daughter’s hair. And she did so with a photo that is the definition of trolling. But, this epic clap back also had Pink showing solidarity for Simpson, nearly two decades after she poked fun at her with her “Stupid Girls” video.
On Thursday (Aug. 1), Pink shared a photo of her coloring her eight-year-old daughter Willow’s hair bright blue. “I heard people were bummed on Jessica Simpson for letting her seven-year-old get her hair colored,” Pink wrote on Instagram. “So we thought we’d share what we did yesterday.”
Pink also shared her feelings with her hashtags: #bluehairdontcare and #getyourownkids.
Pink’s photo came two days after Simpson showed her daughter Maxwell’s dyed hair, inspired by the Disney Channel The Descendants. After posting, Simpson started getting criticized for her daughter’s purple tips. To make sure no one could offer their two cents, Pink disabled the comments on her post.
