Mumps Cases are being Diagnosed at Various North Carolina Universities
You maybe ask yourself, what is the mumps? Well, time to educate yourself because cases are showing up in NC.
The mumps is a contagious disease that is caused by a virus and causes fevers, headaches, and loss of appetite. Recently, High Point University in North Carolina just confirmed eight new cases of mumps.
The students, who are highly contagious, have been quarantined until well. In addition, Elon University in North Carolina reported new mumps cases as well.
