Are You Buying Christmas Lights?
Have you ever gone all out and purchased hundreds of dollars worth of Christmas lights? Or just willing to enjoy everyone else’s labor of the love of stringing them up? Charlotte folk will drive to a Christmas town called, Mcadenville, North Carolina because that city shows off their best-of-show every year!
We plan a night to grab friends and family and head on down to Meadenville, North Carolina. You will see so many lights and Christmas decor that will get you in the spirit of Christmas, even if you don’t believe in the shopping experience. When you drive through Mcadenville, you will see over 150 houses completely covered in lights, extra-large evergreens covered in thousands of lights, and a Nativity scene in front of their church. Mcadenville was named Christmas town in 1956 and the tradition has carried on since, but the best part about it all, you can drive or walk through the beautiful, fully lit city, free! There is absolutely no charge to enjoy the holiday spirit. Load the kids up and enjoy the holidays, or go by yourself. Monday, December, 2nd is their annual tree lighting ceremony! Plus the lights will be perfect for taking selfies! Don’t miss it!
