Guilt Free Christmas Treats
Halloween brings all kinds of mini candy bars that we knawel on, then Thanksgiving brings homemade pies and cakes that segue into the Christmas season, followed by guilt and new gym memberships. Our job is to find guilt-free treats, because the truth of the matter is, we don’t always have to take the unhealthy route. Most of the time you can Pinterest or google a healthy alternative to all over your favorite Christmas treats.
For instance, try something called chocolate chip cookies made from almond flour, coconut flour, ghee, and dark chocolate chips, these are healthy alternatives to your traditional chocolate chip cookies. Another option is Chocolate Pistachio thumbprint cookies! These cookies are amazing and could be good for you. You only need a few ingredients. Cashew meal, cocoa powder, coconut sugar, baking powder, eggs, coconut oil, and vanilla. Huge win when it comes to healthy desserts.
Check out, salted trail mix chocolate bark! This is a delicious sweet and savory snack to have in the kitchen at all times. All you need is your favorite type of nuts and dark chocolate. Melt the chocolate, place the nuts over the top and stick it in the freezer, and it’s keto-friendly!
Bring any of these treats to your next holiday gathering and nobody will even notice that you made a healthy alternative to your typical holiday desserts! Happy Holidays!
