  Billy Porter broke down barriers in 2019 when he became the first openly gay black man to get nominated in a lead acting category at the Emmys. He won an award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a drama for his role in "Pose," and he's also one award away from being an EGOT winner (he just needs the O).

A lot of hype is around the first live-action "Star Wars" series, "The Mandalorian," and there are more "Star Wars" series in the works, not to mention a number of series that take place in the Marvel Universe.
