Homeless Man Attacks Bystanders With Shovel In Uptown Charlotte
If you have ever visited Uptown Charlotte, whether it be during the day to check out the museums or at night to experience the Queen City nightlife, chances are you have seen victims of homelessness scattered around. One recent study that was reported by WBTV says that right now in Mecklenburg county there are 3,569 people experiencing homelessness.
One of those went to jail over the weekend after witnesses caught a shovel attack on camera. The attack happened along North Tryon Street around 2 pm on Saturday.

It all started when a homeless man started to harass a group of women. After a group of bystanders saw that & tried to intervene, the homeless man grabbed a shovel from a nearby construction site.
You can see in the video below, as caught by witnesses, that the man is swinging the shovel at people.
