Miley Cyrus, Lil Nas X, And Oprah Will Help Class Of 2020 Celebrate On Facebook
The graduating class of 2020 has the unfortunate luck of finishing off school in the middle of a pandemic, so several stars are coming together to help them make the most of the situation. Stars like Miley Cyrus, Lil Nas X, Oprah, Jennifer Garner, Simone Biles, and Awkwafina are teaming to be part of the #Graduation2020: Facebook and Instagram Celebrate the Class of 2020 streaming event.
As People explains, Oprah will lead the commencement address, while Miley Cyrus will perform her hit single “The Climb.” The virtual event will kick off on Facebook Watch on May 15. There will also be different segments on Instagram’s official account and on different celebrity accounts.
Leading up to the streaming event, Instagram will start posting a variety of daily graduation programming beginning May 11. They will also have interactive in-app features for graduates, including graduation countdown stickers, celebratory sticker packs, a custom #Graduation2020 hashtag page, and a bundle of graduation-themed music for people to add to their Stories.
