Plastic Surgeon Offering Drive-Thru Botox In Florida
Florida. There always seems to be wild stories out of Florida. And this story is no exception.
A Miami plastic surgeon is offering drive-through Botox for quarantined residents. Michael Salzhauer, otherwise known as “Dr. Miami,” has been running a clinic for injections in the garage of his Florida home. He came up with the idea while sitting in a drive-thru to be tested for the coronavirus.
Salzhauer says that most Botox injections are in the upper face and those parts aren’t covered by a mask. Customers can receive Botox while following the CDC’s recommendations about wearing a mask. The doctor has patients sign up for services online and make payments online. The average cost of a procedure is $600.
Clients of “Dr. Miami” like the idea and think it’s creative. And it’s creative for sure!
In early May, Florida eased up slightly on coronavirus restrictions so cosmetic and elective medical procedures, like Botox injections, were allowed to begin again.
I’m 5o years-old and I definitely have wrinkle and lines on my face. I have friends that get Botox and I totally understand why people do it. That said, I’m uncomfortable with a needle coming at my face! And I’m not sure I’d wanna roll into someone’s garage to have a medical procedure done. Seems a bit off!
