Throwback Video Of The Week: DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince “Summertime”

Congratulations to the Class of 2020! While your graduation may not have been what you expected it to be, you did it and it’s time to celebrate your achievement in whatever way you can. After my friends and I graduated from high school in 1991, we cranked up the radio and drove around Philadelphia looking for some fun.
One of the biggest hits from the summer of ’91, and the most successful U.S. single for DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, was “Summertime.” It’s all about being young and hanging out with your friends during those long laid back days of summer. And, man, does Will Smith look young in the video.
