Woman in Charlotte Has An All Black House And I Love It
Very rarely will you see me in something other than black. Most of my tees, dresses, shoes, pants are all black. Even in the summer when it’s 100 degrees, I’m wearing black. I’m a rock chick so it makes sense that I have lots of black tees. There’s a woman in Charlotte that may love the color black more than me and she’s my new “spirit person.”
Charlotte Agenda has some really great local stories and there’s one I found today that’s awesome! The site often posts a “home tour” featuring a house locally in the Charlotte area. This week’s home belongs to Corri Smith who owns the PR firm Black Wednesday. What’s unique about this home is that it’s all black. The exterior is all black and the inside of the home is decorated in different shades of black. I love it!
The kitchen may be my favorite spot in this house. It’s got a cool black and white honeycomb backsplash, with black shaker cabinets and stainless steel looking appliances. Very sleek! The living room features a black leather couch, with accents of black and white.
The house has two stories with three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths. The third bedroom, which is downstairs, is Smith’s office and yoga studio. The 1440 square foot home is located less than four miles from uptown and is very close to Camp North End.
I was in awe when I saw the picture of Smith’s closet. I thought I had a lot of black colored clothes! Her closet makes mine look so sad! Every piece of clothing and from what I can tell, all of the shoes are black. This chick is my hero! What a rockin’ closet!
Clean lines and funky modern are things I love in a home. If you’re a fan of home tours and like unique decorating this house is a must see! You may snag some tips for your home. See pictures here.
