Throwback Video Of the Week: Chaka Khan “I Feel For You”
If you miss the popping and locking of the ’80s, Chaka Khan is here to help. The music video for her 1984 hit “I Feel For You” contains some excellent retro breakdancing moves.
The song was actually written by Prince and originally appeared on his 1979 self-titled album. However, it was Chaka Khan’s version that shined on the international charts and won two Grammy Awards.
The video features Chaka Khan performing with Shabba-Doo and Boogaloo Shrimp. You might remember them as ‘Ozone’ and ‘Turbo’ from the movies Breakin’ and Breakin’ 2: Electric Boogaloo.
