Do You Like LA Dodgers?
Like me, many are unaware that the Los Angeles Dodgers won the World Series last night for the first time in 32 years. Despite having arguably the best pitcher in Major League Baseball, and one of the highest payrolls outside of the Bronx, NY the Dodgers have not been able to deliver in recent years during playoff time. From Sandy Koufax, Don Drysdale, Fernando Valenzuela, and Orel Hershier, the Dodgers have a long history of outstanding pitchers, that all produced in big games. Clayton Kershaw has now cemented his name along with the other pitching ICONS in Dodger folklore with this World Series Championship. The Playoffs took place in a bubble this year, just like the NBA Finals.
Therefore, the fans were unable to attend, but at the end of the day, the city of Los Angeles has won an NBA Championship and a Major League Baseball Championship in the span of 3 weeks. Guess what? The Los Angeles Rams are also serious contenders to appear in the Super Bowl this year. Lets just hope for the fans sake, it’s not in a bubble this time, because we kind of hate COVID, but loving LA!
