Walmart To Pay 100% Of College Tuition And Book Costs For Employees

I think this is really cool! Walmart employees attending college will be getting some big financial help starting next month.

The company has announced they’ll cover 100-percent of the tuition costs for all part-time and full-time employees. But that’s not all. Starting August 16th, books will also be paid for.

Walmart issued a news release stating the move means approximately 1.5 million Walmart and Sam’s Club employees “can earn college degrees or learn trade skills without the burden of education debt.”  How amazing! Their also adding additional options for certificates and degrees, certificate and degree options, like business administration and cybersecurity.

I think this is awesome!  It will give so many people opportunities that they may not have had otherwise. And it’s a great way to keep good employees within the company.
