I know I'm not the only one that's ready to say bye-bye to summer and the 90-degree weather. I'm over the heat and so ready for fall to hit. We're starting to see some signs of fall: some leaves are falling, there's a little breeze in the morning, Halloween stuff is in stores, and pumpkin patches are starting to open. Yay!

With COVID still around, some of the fall activities that we love are limited. But pumpkin-picking is usually outside so the CDC says it's a pretty safe activity. I remember looking for a pumpkin as a kid. You always search for the perfect one! And yes, as an adult, I still look around for the perfect one.

Pumpkin patches usually offer other family fun activities. Many have hayrides, corn mazes, and games for kids. And of course, if you get lucky, you may be able to score some early Halloween candy. i

According to Patch.com, there are a few pumpkin-picking patches already open in our area. See all the info including times, dates open, and activities that are offered here. And happy pumpkin picking!
