LiveNation Vaccination Policy Goes Into Effect October 4th
There is some important info you need to know if you have tickets to any LiveNation shows, in regards to their vaccination policy. The company announced earlier this summer that beginning October 4th it would be requiring proof of vaccination or a negative test to attend shows. Well, October 4th is next week which means you need to be prepared. Luckily there have been a few shows that have already had these requirements in place (at artist discretion) so we know how this will work.
- First, if you’ve been vaccinated. You must be two weeks post your second dose of one of the MRNA Vaccines or two weeks past the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. You can either bring your vaccination card or take a photo of it (which I recommend doing). You will also need to show your ID to ensure they match.
- If you haven’t been vaccinated. You will still be permitted to attend (unless the artist sets a vaccine mandate). However, you will have to show proof of a negative test received within 72 hours of the show date.
- What if I don’t have either? At PNC Music Pavilion and the Charlotte Metro Credit Union Amphitheater, they have been offering on-site rapid tests for $40. Once the test comes back negative you will be permitted to enter the venue. However, I would only rely on this as a last resort it’s better to be prepared and get into the venue immediately.
