Dallas Lavender Lane Farm Holding Fall Festival This Weekend
If you’re looking for some fall fun this weekend you can find it in Dallas. The Dallas Lavender Lane Farm is holding their 2nd Annual Fall Festival this Saturday, October 23. I’ve yet to venture out to the farm but I have friends that go their often and they love it! One of my friends goes just to see the little goats!
The smell of lavender is one of my favorites and it’s supposed to reduce stress. After the year I’ve had, I could use some fresh lavender in my house!
Dallas Lavender Lane is a 38 acre farm with over 5, 000 plants on approximately six acres. They have four different lavender varieties. They have a small country store on the property where you can buy lavender infused products, including baking mixes.
This weekend’s festival will begin at 10 am on Saturday and run until 5 pm. There will be craft vendors, food vendors, a DJ, and over 15 free games for the kids. While at the festival you can check out the petting zoo, carousel rides for kids eight years old and younger, a putt putt course, pumpkin painting, and there’s a huge playground. Not all activities are free. You can also purchase pumpkins at the festival and they’ll have prizes for best costume!
Dallas Lavender Lane Farm is at 937 Old Willis School Road in Dallas. Find out more info about this weekend and about the festival here.
