This Tool With Calculate The Covid Risk Of Your Holiday Gathering
Many of us are planning our first holiday gatherings with family in two years. Or at least a more normal gathering. I for one am very happy to be celebrating inside this year instead of dining in the driveway. But with delta still a concern you may be wondering what is the covid risk of your holiday gathering.
Researchers at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) created an easy to use online tool that allows people to assess the perceived chance of someone at their gathering having COVID-19. The tool takes into consideration the location and size of your gathering.
It’s called the COVID-19 Event Risk Assessment Planning Tool. The site has an interactive map that is broken down by county. Once the county is selected users can move a sliding range to change the number of guests and see how that impacts the risk of someone carrying Covid-19.
