Teen In Waxhaw Dazzles Community With Christmas Lights
If you need some help decorating your home for the holidays, you may want to contact this 13-year-old in Waxhaw. Grayson Glienmo is a middle school student that is a pro at decorating for the holidays.
According to WCNC, Glienmo has been in charge of his family’s decorations for years. He says he started buying decorations and being in charge at the age of 8. Impressive!
Each year the Marvin Ridge Middle School student designs and builds the majority of the Christmas lights outside his family’s home. This year, the young man went straight Griswold! The display includes 10,000 lights and some homemade pieces that he built with things he found around the house.
Every year, his light display brings cheer to his Waxhaw neighborhood and that keeps him going. Glienmo wants to expand his light display to the backyard too and hopes to one day land on a TV competition show for the best Christmas light display.
I’m no decorating pro but I’m pretty sure this kid could open his own business decorating people’s yards for the holidays. Obviously he has some serious talent!
