Black Girl Magic: Leslie Baylor Named “Radio’s African American Future Leader”
Some people think the “World of Radio” is easy breezy. Listening to music all day, interviewing and hanging out with celebs, going to parties and concerts. While we do get to do all of those things (and more), there is a part of radio that no one see that requires a lot of work.
One of the hardest working “radio” people that I know is Leslie Baylor a.k.a LaLaLa Leslie, our Promotions Director. Leslie is responsible for the marketing and brand of our 6 radio stations (Power 98, V101.9, KISS 95.1, WSOC 103.7, Fox Sports 94.7, K104.7, and Smoke). It’s a big job with long hours and Leslie is a pro! So, it comes as no surprise that she was honored by “Radio Ink” as one of “Radio’s African American Future Leaders“.
