Here’s How You Might Be Able To Get Your Heating Bill Paid in Mecklenburg County
Need help with your heating bill this season? Well, if you live in Mecklenburg County you might be eligible for the Energy Assistance Program. I had an opportunity to chat with Marquette Kilpatrick, Social Services Manager, and she gave me all the details about this wonderful program.
To learn more Mecklenburg County Emergency Assistance program and/or to complete an application, please visit mecknc.gov/energy or apply in person at the Wallace Kuralt Building (301 Billingsley Road, Charlotte NC, 28211) or the Community Resource Center (3205 Freedom Drive, Suite 1000, Building A, Charlotte, NC 28208). Or you can complete a telephone application by calling the DSS Call Center at 704-336-3000. Don’t forget the dealing to apply is March 31, 2023.
