It's no secret that I'm a huge animal fan. Dogs are my favorites, and I have a special place in my heart for the amazing folks who work and volunteer at Gaston County Animal Care and Enforcement. I saw a picture of Kramer on their Facebook page years ago, and knew immediately I had to have him. Without question, he is THE sweetest dog I've ever had! You and your family can meet some sweeties soon at the Easter EGGtravagana.

I love that GCACE hold so many fun events! On March 31, they'll hold their Easter EGGtravagana from 6-7 p.m. You can decorate dog treats, make a pet themed craft and help stuff and hide eggs for the Shelter Pet Easter Egg hunt. How fun!

This is an excellent event for kids who love animals, and it gives you the opportunity to meet some cuties that you may want to make a part of your family. Shelters all over are dealing with overcrowding and lack of funds. I know recently GCACE was low on food and was asking for donations. When I can, I try to help out, so I sent them two bags of food.

If you can't attend the event, please consider donating money or food to the Gastonia location, or to a shelter in your community.
