‘The Munsters’ Vehicles To Hit Charlotte Motor Speedway’s AutoFair
Halloween is my favorite holiday and has been since I was a kid! I love all things spooky, so as a kid, I love the television shows ‘The Munsters’ and ‘The Addams Family’. Of course both shows debuted before I was born, but I’d watch reruns lots. Now a part of television history is coming to Charlotte.
Herman Munster and Grandpa were awesome, but the vehicles in ‘The Munsters’ were beyond cool! And you can see them in person this April in Charlotte. The Munster Koach and the Drag-u-la will make their debut at the AutoFair at Charlotte Motor Speedway April 13-16, according to WBTV.
Both vehicles were featured in episodes of the television show which aired from 1964-1966. If you’re unfamiliar with the show, the family are a Transylvanian-American family who live at 1313 Mockingbird Lane. The family is odd and odd looking, and they consider themselves to be a ‘normal’ American family.
The family is based on some of the ‘classic’ monsters feature in Hollywood, with dad Herman Munster resembling Frankenstein’s monster. But his personality is so loving!
