‘Bug Pants’ Are The Way To Keep Mosquitoes Away This Summer

This may be one of the oddest things I’ve seen and apparently, they aren’t new! Mosquitoes are awful in the South during summer, and it gets too hot here to wear long pants and a long sleeve shirt. That’s where these ‘bug pants’ come in.
According to Delish, Coghlan’s Bug Pants are the way to keep your skin from nasty mosquitoes in the summer. The full length mesh pants go over the clothes you’re wearing. If you have shorts on, these slip right over them. Their lightweight and cool which means you won’t sweat to death! I mean, jeans when it’s 95 degrees outside is no fun.
These pants can also help you avoid ticks and other annoying bugs. There is a price to pay though for keeping your skin free from bug bites. And that price is that you’ll look ridiculous! The pants aren’t too pricey, around $15, but they are unattractive. Truth told, they’re kinda goofy looking. The only way I’d wear these is if I was spending time on someone’s farm or in a swamp. And the likelihood of those situations happening are REAL small for me! I’d rather smell like bug spray!
If you’re interested, the pants are available in small, medium, large, and extra-large. The pants are available on Amazon and they’re unisex. Despite the goofiness of the pants, if you camp you may want to check these out. Coghlan’s has lots of other camping gear too. If you need an early Christmas gift for the outdoors person in your life, check these out. The box they come in is small enough to fit in a stocking! I know what I’m getting for Phil!

Camping has all sorts of benefits, and it’s almost certain to help your family.
“Simply put, camping is good for you, both in body and mind,” a Utah State University study said. “Benefits include relationship building, opportunities to learn and develop new skills, unplugging and getting away from screens, connecting with nature, stress reduction, and increasing physical fitness.”
And don’t be afraid if you are new to all of this. There are a number of great resources out there to help you get started with camping.
“The best way to learn to camp is to jump right in and try,” KOA said in this handy guide. “You may encounter a few bumps along the road, but it is important to remember that no camping trip ever goes exactly as planned. As long as you know the camping basics, the rest will become memories and experiences to help you grow each time you embark on another trip.”
