Charlotte’s Paper Skyscraper Launches Website So We Can Have Fun Online
If you’ve lived in the Charlotte area for a few years or longer, then you’re familiar with Paper Skyscraper. It’s a fun and festive store on East Blvd. that carries an array of things. Years ago, when I was first in radio in promotions, a group of girls and I would always go out for lunch at least once a week, and often we’d stop to do some shopping at Paper Skyscraper. They carry such an awesome selection of stuff! Once I needed a gag gift for a friend, and ending up buying her a ‘Boyfriend In A Box’ and it was perfect! Sadly, it’s hard to find those fun 90’s gifts anymore!
Back to the shop! According to Axios Charlotte, Paper Skyscraper has launched a website so if you can’t make it to the store, you can do some shopping online. I’m so glad they finally did this! About three months ago, a friend I worked with in the 90’s started working at Beasley, and I went looking for the Paper Skyscraper website to get her a ‘welcome back’ gift. At the time their website wasn’t available.
Food, Funny Stuff, and Festive Gifts
Paper Skyscraper carries a lot of different things. Last night I was looking at their Halloween stuff online and they have lots of cute stuff! One of the things I noticed is that they have a great selection of books. If you have a child or grandchild that really loves Halloween, they are carrying some really cute books! They also have an excellent selection of cards, home goods, and yummy Southern foods.
The store has been in Charlotte for over 30 years, and I love that they focus on selling lots of stuff from local authors, artists, and chefs. If you’re looking for a cute gift, they have it! This is a great store to buy lots of little things and create a gift basket or to buy some fun items for gag gifts. If your office does a gift swap for the holidays, you’ll find something for everyone at Paper Skyscraper. I spent about an hour last night perusing their site and found lots of great stuff!
One of my favorite things at the store is they huge selection of fun cards. And I also love the festive note pads you can buy. Many of the items you find at the store are a bit ‘sassy’ which I love!
Axios Charlotte is hooking folks up with a deal! If you do some shopping online at Paper Skyscraper, you can snag 20% off using the code AXIOS20 if you shop before October 31. I’m in! Saving any amount of money is a score. Since I’m a Halloween fan, I’m eyeballing ‘The Horror Movie Night Cookbook’ by Richard S. Sargent. I mean, who doesn’t wanna try a ‘Michael Myers Martini’? The ‘Feel-Good Fall Baking’ cookbook looks fabulous too!
