Henry Cavill Is Expecting His First Child
From playing the role of a father figure in The Witcher to becoming one in real life, Henry Cavill is expecting his first child! He and his longtime girlfriend, Natalie Viscuso, are welcoming a new addition to their lives.
The Superman star confirmed the news to Access Hollywood on Monday (April 15). The 40-year-old actor told the publication at the New York premiere of The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare after he was asked about his character in the Guy Ritchie action war film.
After shutting down the publication’s cheeky assumption that he was inspired to become a dad after his co-star Henry Golding became a new father himself, Cavill laughed and denied that, quipping that his parents did. “I’m very excited about it,” he added. “Natalie and I are both very excited. I’m sure you’ll see much more of that.” Elsewhere in the interview, Cavill said that Natalie was a fan of the mustache he grew out for the upcoming film, a reference to his role in 2018’s Mission: Impossible – Fallout.

Henry’s news comes the day after he and Natalie stepped out together for a date night out in NYC, with Natalie pretty obviously showing off her baby bump. She wore a long-sleeved black maxi dress with a high neck and tight enough around her body to notice her belly.
The hunky British actor first announced his relationship with Natalie, 33, on Instagram in April 2021 while adorably playing chess. He captioned the girlfriend-reveal photo: “This is me looking quietly confident shortly before my beautiful and brilliant love Natalie, destroys me at chess.” Then, they made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2022 premiere of Enola Holmes 2. So far, there hasn’t been any talk of the two getting married, but Access Hollywood shared their congratulations with the action star, who seemed to be very humbled and genuinely appreciative of the kind words.
Who Is Henry Cavill’s Girlfriend, Natalie Viscuso?
Viscuso isn’t an actress, but she does work in film and television. She was the vice president of Vertigo Entertainment, but she most famously starred in an episode of MTV’s My Super Sweet 16 in 2005 in La Jolla, California. Her family’s wealth, including a $5 million home and a fleet of Bentleys and Ferraris, was on full display while she had a lavish, club-themed party.
The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is out in theaters on April 19, with select cities having early screenings now. Watch the trailer below:
