Why Fans Think Beyoncé Will Be Touring in 2025
During the NFL 2024 Christmas Day Halftime Show for the Houston Texans-Baltimore Ravens game, Beyoncé performed at the NRG Stadium in her hometown in Houston, Texas. Dubbed the “Beyoncé Bowl,” she performed songs from her latest album, Cowboy Carter. It was a show full of show-stopping performances and surprise guest appearances from Post Malone and Shaboozey. She performed a total of nine songs, including “Jolene,” “Blackbird,” and “16 Carriages.” Watch the performance below.
Blue Ivy, Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s eldest daughter also danced with her mother just like she did during the Renaissance World Tour. She performed during the closing song, “Texas Hold ‘Em.”
In case you missed it, you can read about the highlights here. Because of this performance and since it’s her first live performance of her songs from Cowboy Carter, fans have started to think and speculate that she will be touring in 2025. Here are a few reasons why we agree.
“1.14.25”
After her performance, Beyoncé posted on social media a video of herself while riding a white horse and waving an American flag. After the clip ended, the message “1.14.25” appeared on the screen. Her caption for the video also did not give away anything. She simply wrote, “Look at that horse.”
However, it’s safe to deduce that something is happening on January 14, 2025.
Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour
Fans went wild with speculation on what the date signifies. X (formerly Twitter) is buzzing with comments that on January 14, 2025, Beyoncé will be announcing the Cowboy Carter tour. One fan wrote, “Cowboy Carter 2025 tour with opener Shaboozey announcement coming soon.” Another even predicted Queen Bey’s activities until 2027, “I think Beyoncé will tour next year. She is pacing herself. She released Renaissance in 2022 and started her touring in May 2023. Released Cowboy Carter in 2024 and will start her tour pretty much the same month in 2025. Released act iii in early 2026 and tour in 2027.”
But perhaps the most telling clue is Live Nation’s reposting of her 1.14.25 video clip.
Per Billboard, Live Nation is “one of the world’s biggest touring companies, which backed Bey’s most recent trek, the Renaissance World Tour.” She hasn’t toured since her 2022’s Renaissance world tour which started on May 2023 in Stockholm, Sweden and ended in October 2023 in Kansas City, Missouri. The tour sold 2.8 million tickets and grossed $579.8 million.
