Here’s One Cocktail That’s PERFECT For Summer
We’re inside two weeks until Memorial Day, the official kickoff of summer. I’m one of these people that enjoys shifting my cocktail preference with the season. For example, when it’s cold and dreary, I prefer cocktails made with bourbon. However, once the summer and heat return, I’m all about the rum and vodka drinks. And when it comes to cooling off quick, nothing does the trick more than a drink in a frosty copper mug! Debbie came up with this slightly spicy version of a “Moscow Mule” (her go-to cocktail) that will do the trick while putting a little “pop” in your perfect summer cocktail search.
Ingredients:
2 oz. of your favorite vodka
2 oz. ginger beer
2 oz. lemon-lime soda
2 oz. pineapple juice
squeeze of fresh lime
fresh jalapeno slices
Directions:
Mix everything together except the soda. Pour into a cold copper mug filled with crushed ice. Top off with a splash of lemon-lime soda, squeeze of lime and top with jalapenos slices.
