Courthouse Dogs Are Coming
Dogs are trained specifically to assist victims of crime during witness interviews and courtroom testimony. This might a good thing because child crime victims need to feel safer while investigators ask questions. Courtrooms can be stressful, but in this case, children get to tell their stories about what happened. The comfort dogs we call canine companions go through training in order to do their job. Many of us own dogs and they bring us so much love, so it makes sense to have Courthouse dogs. These furry friends have good energy for people with feelings of depression and high anxiety.
This courthouse facility dog is of course professionally and graduated from an accredited assistance dog organization that is a member of Assistance Dogs International. Dogs are amazing creatures with so much compassion and love. Maybe we should have these dogs in divorce court. I’m just saying.
