Register For Carolinas Veterans Day Festival
Hot off the press! Veterans, service members, families, and anyone who wants to celebrate Veterans Day please register for the event this on Friday, September 29, 2023, through Eventbrite. The event is free, but space is limited. Veterans Bridge Home is hosting the event in partnership with Lowe’s and Truist. This is the second annual Carolinas’ Veterans Day Festival at American Legion Memorial Stadium. This free and open-to-the-public celebration of our military Veterans and their families will open at 2 p.m. with a kids’ zone and expo featuring Veteran-owned businesses, Veteran employee resource groups, and retailers. At 5 p.m. the community will recognize individuals and organizations that have contributed to the success of Veterans across the Carolinas. The festival will be capped by a free concert featuring Grammy-nominated performer Elle King, presented by Truist.
The lineup is exciting starting at 2 to 5 p.m. The Business Expo features Veteran-owned businesses, Veteran Employee Resource Groups, Retailers, and more. Also, during this time there will be a free kids’ zone with inflatables for children to play on presented by Lowe’s. From 5 – 6 p.m. Sky diving demonstration by the All-Veterans Group, Community Awards presentation recognizing the Veteran, Volunteer, Employer, Provider, and Employee Resource Group of the Year. Lastly, from 6 to 8 p.m. enjoy a Veterans Day Concert presented by Truist featuring four-time Grammy nominee Elle King. Nashville’s Casey Noël will open.
