Local Holiday Market Is Just Around The Corner Offering All Things Festive
Over the summer I did lots of shopping at the farmer’s market here in Gastonia. It’s only open certain months of the year but I’m so glad that I can still get my fresh veggie fix at the Charlotte Regional Farmer’s Market, just off Yorkmont Road. If you’ve never been, you need to make a plan to go! And this month is a great time to check it out.
The Charlotte Regional Farmer’s Market is having their ‘Holiday Market‘ on Saturday, November 18 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. There’s something for everyone in your family at this event. Let’s chat shopping first: this market will be a great place to find one-of-a-kind gifts for lots of people on your holiday list. You’ll be able to find handmade crafts, unique gifts, and holiday decorations.
Trees, Food, Gifts and Santa
If you’re looking for a fresh NC Christmas Tree this year, the ‘Holiday Market’ will be selling them. They’ll have numerous trees, in lots of sizes, so you can pick out the best one for your home. I love the smell of fresh Christmas trees! They’ll also have fresh wreaths available too!
Eating is one of my favorite hobbies, and you’ll be able to score some amazing baked goods at this event. One of the best desserts I’ve ever had I found at the Charlotte Regional Farmer’s Market! It was a small pie made by Thoughtful Baking Co. here in Charlotte. In addition to yummy baked goods, you’ll be able to shop for specialty foods, fresh produce and quality meats from local farms.
Kids will love the Cake Walk event, and you’ll have a chance to win an amazing dessert from one of the Market’s talented bakers. The big man himself, Santa, will also be making an appearance. Santa will be walking around during the event, spreading joy and cheer, and kids will be able to meet him!
