Kane Brown’s Next Album To Feature Only Past Collaborators
Kane Brown recently shared some updates about his upcoming album. During the E! Red Carpet Livestream at the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards on Thursday, Sept. 26, he mentioned, “We just ended our tour, [and] we have another announcement coming up.”
When asked about the influx of collaboration requests following his successful tour, Brown confirmed that new projects are indeed in the works. “It’s interesting because I’m working on my album right now, and every collab that’s on my album is someone I’ve worked with before,” he noted, adding, “I’m keeping the circle small.”
From the moment Kane Brown stepped into the music scene, he was all about those collabs, working with a mix of country and other genre artists. Some of my personal favorites include “Be Like That” with Swae Lee and Khalid and “Blessed & Free” with H.E.R. He’s teamed up with Marshmello twice, on the tracks “One Thing Right” and “Miles On It,” too.
Other artists in his collaboration lineup include Chris Young, Lauren Alaina, Nelly, Khalid, Becky G, Camila Cabello, and his wife, Katelyn Jae. With Brown “keeping the circle small,” there’s a good chance we might see some of these familiar faces on his new album.
Kane Brown took to the stage at the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards, held at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, to accept one of the evening’s top honors. “I always, always look down on myself every day. [I] always look down on myself and I never think I should be on this stage,” Brown humbly reflected after thanking his fans. He also encouraged “any kid” and anyone tuning in to “dream, help people out, and don’t listen to people that say no or tell you no when you try to do something.”
Before wrapping up his speech, Brown expressed his gratitude to his wife, Katelyn Jae Brown, who manages their household while they raise their three kids together. “She holds our house down,” he said, adding that he can’t wait to be home with his “babies.”
The couple welcomed their third child, a baby boy, on June 19, announcing his name with a carousel of photos captioned, “Krewe Allen Brown 6.18 [blue heart emoji].” In the first snapshot, Katelyn lovingly cradled their newborn while Kane sat beside her in the hospital bed, wrapping his arm around her. Other photos included a heartwarming black-and-white shot of Brown gazing down at Krewe and pictures of Katelyn beaming at their little one, who was snugly swaddled, as well as an adorable close-up of Krewe’s tiny feet.
This was followed by a black-and-white photo of Brown holding Krewe and gazing down at him adoringly. Further shots showed Katelyn smiling down at their little one, who was swaddled in a hospital blanket, and a close-up black-and-white snap of Krewe’s feet.
Kane Brown’s 2024 In the Air tour wrapped up on September 14, at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, featuring stops in cities like Charlottesville, VA, Tampa, FL, Raleigh, NC, Atlanta, GA, Milwaukee, WI, Boston, MA, Seattle, WA, Los Angeles, CA, and Denver, CO.
