November 11th is Veterans Day and we are grateful for the hard work, sacrifices, and bravery of those who have served our country. Some of them went on to successful careers in show business after their time in uniform.

It’s well known that Elvis Presley did a stint in the U.S. Army during the height of his career, from 1958 to 1960. Likewise, the members of mega-popular K-pop boy band BTS will soon begin their mandatory military service in South Korea. Here are some celebrities you might not have known had served in the U.S. military before they became famous.
