Paying It Forward……….
I spend lots of time on social media. It’s part of my job, and truth told, I don’t have much of a life. 🙂
I’ve noticed that spending so much time on social media can be somewhat depressing. There is so much negativity! It can be a bit disheartening at times. Right now so many folks are obsessed with the NFL, and the ruckus surrounding the national anthem. I’m not going to weigh in on that, but I AM going to bring you a happy story. I saw this story earlier this morning, and it restored my faith in humanity.
Last week, a woman, who is a regular at a McDonald’s in Mississippi, decided to pay for the food for the people in line at the drive-thru behind her. Her kind act created a chain reaction, and over 125 customers participated. This story made my heart happy. No it isn’t changing the world, but it makes you realize that the good does outweigh the bad in our world. You can see some more on this story here.
